THE UNSCENTED COMPANY, FRAGRANCE-FREE BODY AND HOUSEHOLD PRODUCTS
Let’s talk with our customer The Unscented Company, a brand of fragrance-free body and household products based on two fundamental concepts: redefining the notion of cleanliness by offering only natural and fragrance-free products and reducing the collective plastic footprint through sustainable and reusable packaging.
Furthermore, The Unscented Company has been B Corporation verified: a growing community of over 6,000 companies working together towards a common goal: redefining success in business. It aims to achieve the highest standards of performance, transparency and responsibility, along with consideration of employees, the local community and the environment.
It is with these commitments that Anie Rouleau, the founder and CEO, launched her brand in 2016 in Quebec.
Products for cleaning the home, laundry and also personal hygiene, The Unscented Company brand offers a complete range of fragrance-free products that are efficient, practical, sustainable and which respect the planet.
Their products are available on their web site, in supermarkets or on other web sites.

We have been helping them with their 3-in1 dishwasher tablets since 2016.
These small tablets are eco-designed and Leaping Bunny certified. Their concentrated formula helps to soak, wash and rinse dishes for brilliant results!
They effectively eliminate food residues and degrease your dishes and glasses to leave them sparkling clean.
These dishwasher tablets are made from ingredients that are 93% composed of plants and minerals and have no fragrance, dye, phosphate or chlorine, for more natural cleaning!
They are sold in water-soluble sachets in recycled and recyclable boxes of 30 tablets and in boxes of 500 tablets.
More recently in 2021, The Unscented Company launched its laundry detergent tablets, made by Eurotab.
A concentrate of softness and freshness in this 20g tablet!
In one simple gesture, eliminate plastic and excessive dosing with this solid laundry detergent.
These eco-designed fragrance and dye-free laundry tablets are effective in cold water (from 10°C) and will take care of all your clothes for perfect results!
They are sold in water-soluble sachets in recycled and recyclable boxes of 35 tablets and in boxes of 300 tablets.
In the near future, tablets for cleaning floors will be put on sale.

AN INTERVIEW WITH ANIE, FOUNDER & CEO
CAN YOU TELL ME MORE ABOUT YOUR TABLET PROJECTS (LAUNDRY, DISHWASHERS, FLOORS): HOW DID IT COME ABOUT? WHY? WHEN DID IT START?
« We discovered Eurotab when we first launched the company with windscreen wash tablets! Unfortunately, this project wasn’t successful at the time because customers weren’t prepared to switch their habits. The market wasn’t yet ready to make that change.
But that did convince me of the importance of the solid format for the Canadian market and the advantage of this format for the future. Therefore we decided to launch our dishwasher tablets, first using a Chinese manufacturer and then with Eurotab when we were able to meet the minimum order conditions. That product was much more effective, of better quality and met all the standards at that time, we were delighted!
At the time, we had to buy 12 pallets to reach the minimum order quantities to hold several weeks of stock. We have grown considerably since then and today buy bigger quantities more often!
As we were very satisfied with this partnership, we decided to extend our range with laundry detergent tablets in 2021 and floor-cleaning tablets in 2023. »
HOW MANY PEOPLE WORK AT The Unscented Company?
« There are currently 16 people working at The Unscented Company, including 3 new recruits this year. As we don’t have in-house production, they have joined the administrative departments, such as Marketing, Customer service, Accounts and the management of sub-contracted production and logistics. »
WHAT DO YOU THINK OF YOUR PARTNERSHIP WITH EUROTAB?
« I’m very happy with our partnership, in spite of the distance between us! The fact that Gaëlle, the Sales Manager in charge of our account, is on site, is a real plus as that really helps us to exchange and understand the market.
I really appreciate that Eurotab supports small and medium-sized businesses with meaningful projects and potential, like The Unscented Company.
Eurotab has been our partner for 7 years now and has supported our rapid growth. They have always been by our side and they are an important supplier to our company. »
DOES EUROTAB MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS?
« Yes absolutely, at several levels: quality, efficiency and agility. The products Eurotab supply meet the standards and requirements demanded by our customers, which increase every year, but also to the specific demand in Canada.
They are a very agile company and that’s great as they always look to innovate, improve products and satisfy the most demanding requirements of our customers. It is truly a joint enterprise that guarantees the success of our companies! »
WHAT DO YOU THINK OF SOLID PRODUCTS FOR CLEANING PRODUCTS?
« I think that tablets are obviously the future, I’m convinced of that!
We think that solid products meet both ecological and cost criteria as they help to save water and do not use single-use plastic. They are also more compact and require less volumes for transport! But first and foremost, they must be effective! »
DO YOU THINK THAT the unscented company WILL DEVELOP MORE IN THIS FORMAT IN THE FUTURE? WHY DO YOU THINK SO?
« The Unscented Company’s objective is to become a plastic-free business and the tablet format takes us in exactly that direction, so my answer is of course YES! »
