« Order the necessary components and produce the products on time so as not to disrupt our customers and our production lines, while avoiding overstocking.»
« I've been with Eurotab for 16 years. I joined the Supply Chain department in Sales Administration in 2008. There were only two of us, and we were very versatile. I entered orders, followed them up in production through to invoicing, managed transport disputes, price disputes, ERP updates...etc.
The company has evolved enormously since then, and jobs have been restructured to keep pace with this evolution. In fact, I've been through three different departments and a lot of changes within Eurotab! But I adapted easily.
Then, in 2012, I switched to a Project Manager/ADV position, this time as part of the sales team where I managed our customers' projects from A to Z. This was a very comprehensive position until 2017. That year, the position was transferred back to Supply Chain, and until 2018, I only worked on pure projects.
Then, the following year, I moved on to my current position: Supply and Planning Technician, within a large and wonderful team of 17 people: Supply Chain! and more specifically the supply/planning team made up of 4 people.
Today, I plan product production and purchase materials and components from our disinfection plant in Saint Rambert. »
« We can't speak of a "typical day", but rather of a period in the month:
Every day, I carry out what is known as adherence: this involves measuring the consistency between the opening (in hours) requested from production and the production (in hours) actually carried out. This gives me a schedule compliance rate which highlights the advances/delays of each line.
During our team briefing, we then discuss issues such as transport, availability of finished products and raw material shortages with the entire Supply Chain department (sales, logistics and forklift drivers).
On a day-to-day basis, I use our ERP system, which is the backbone and guide for all our movements and registrations, and which enables us to manage the flow from A to Z at Eurotab, as well as a tool specific to supply/planners, a planning and supply support tool. It enables us to manage and control the flow of our inventories, and to adapt our orders for PF components and production.
Since 2019, I've also been a member of the CSE and CSSCT, which takes up around 20% of my time over the month, with monthly meetings, preparation and one-off actions. »
« You need to be rigorous, that's for sure. You need a sharp, critical mind, the ability to organize and plan, an open mind and a sense of solidarity. We all work with each other. We have to know how to call for help when we need it.
The job requires computer skills, especially Excel and the use of various software programs, as well as an analytical and coordinating mind. »
« More and more, we're emphasizing well-being at work and safety, and I really appreciate that. Flexibility is the order of the day: telecommuting, flexible working hours, workload management... The various benefits we have thanks to our CSE are also very much appreciated.
The working atmosphere is a real plus at Eurotab, as is the friendliness of managers and colleagues. »
« The team! I really feel at ease with my colleagues and this motivates me every day to carry out my assignments. »
« My greatest source of pride is and remains, when I achieve my goals, knowing that my work has served a purpose and receiving recognition.»
« I'm a very sporty person, even though I've drastically reduced my exercise following some minor health problems. I like running, walking, fitness... I also like going out a lot, I'm very sociable. It's all about pulse! I love giving to others, helping out, and I donate blood and plasma regularly. I also read. »
