WHAT’S YOUR MAIN TASK?
« I'm responsible for ensuring that instructions and procedures are followed to deliver a product that meets customer specifications.»
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN WITH EUROTAB? IN WHICH POSITIONS?
« I joined Eurotab in 2015, so it's been 9 years since January 2024. I started out as a quality technician for 2 years, then became product quality manager and quickly moved on to my current position, product and supplier quality manager. I've been managing a team of 4 people: 3 quality technicians and a quality consultant since September 2023. »
WHAT IS YOUR TYPICAL DAY LIKE?
« There's no such thing as a typical day at Quality!
For me, it's a lot of multi-department meetings and meetings with customers on a wide variety of subjects. Our field of action is quite vast, and covers subjects such as: product analyses, quality validations, management of supplier/internal and customer non-conformities, drawing up specifications, customer audits...
We are dependent on internal and external demands, including problem-solving and rapid decision-making.
Every day is a new experience, and no two days are alike. We work with all the company's departments, and quality is central.
Part of my job is also to carry out the customer audits we have on a regular basis. »
WHAT QUALITIES DO YOU NEED FOR THIS POSITION?
« Several qualities are required, but I'd say first and foremost rigor, high standards for oneself and others, and the resilience to maintain one's position in the face of any dissenting opinions.»
WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT EUROTAB?
« I appreciate the generally good working atmosphere, with friendly people: that's a big plus at Eurotab!! »
WHAT DRIVES YOU ON A DAILY BASIS?
« I'm really motivated by the work itself and the interactions we can have with others. »
WHAT IS YOUR GREATEST PRIDE AT WORK?
« I'm proud to have built up a stable team that's willing to help each other out. The mentality of the quality team is top-notch, and they work in complete harmony..»
MORE PERSONALLY: DO YOU HAVE ANY HOBBIES AND/OR ANY SPECIAL INTERESTS?
« I'm passionate about reading: when I'm well motivated and my son gives me the time, I manage to read a book a week. I also love football - I don't play any more, but I follow my favourite teams' games very closely. Cinema is also one of my favorite pastimes, and like reading, I don't have a particular style, I'm eclectic. »
