WHY DISINFECT?

Disinfecting is crucial to eliminate harmful micro-organisms, such as bacteria, viruses and fungi, thus reducing the risk of infectious diseases. It also ensures a safer, more hygienic environment, particularly in areas where hygiene is paramount, such as kitchens and bathrooms. Finally, regular disinfection prevents the spread of germs and contributes to overall health.

What is Bleach ?

THE RIGHT STEPS FOR EFFECTIVE DISINFECTION

To disinfect effectively and safely, here are our best practices:

Clean before you disinfect

First clean surfaces as usual to remove dirt, dust and debris. Using your detergent will destroy the biofilm that protects bacteria. By doing so, the “shield” will be broken down and some of the infectious agents destroyed. If the cleaning is to make the room visually clean, disinfection is to destroy all germs. Bleach doesn't clean, it disinfects. It is therefore essential to use a detergent followed by a rinse to clean before disinfecting. A clean surface means more effective disinfection!

Read instructions and respect dosage

Carefully read the instructions on the product label for application methods, dosages and contact times. These may vary from product to product.

Use an effective disinfectant

You can use Eurotab's bleach tablets for disinfecting to kill all germs. Bleach tablets are effective, killing 99.99% of germs and disinfecting the whole house, while being safe and splash-free. Practical, they are easy to dose, dissolve quickly, and allow compact storage, reducing waste and over-consumption.

Allow the disinfectant to work

Leave the disinfectant in contact with the surface for the recommended on the product (often 5 minutes). This time is crucial for eliminating micro-organisms.

Rinse surfaces after using disinfectant

Rinse the surface with clear water and a clean cloth after the contact time to remove any disinfectant residues that may remain on the surface. This is essential to ensure complete hygiene.

Regularly disinfect your surfaces

Regularly disinfect frequently touched surfaces such as door handles, switches, telephones, keyboards and work surfaces. Regular disinfection minimizes the risk of contamination. In a house, bacteria proliferate at breakneck speed: 1 single bacterial cell generates a colony of 1 billion in less than 24 hours!

Keep bleach in a safe place

Bleach tablets are guaranteed to be effective for 3 years, compared with only 6 months for liquid bleach! Solid bleach is compact and easy to store! It can be stored at temperatures not exceeding 50°C. Please refer to the expiration date on the cap. After this date, its effectiveness is not optimal.

Follow precautions for use

Bleach must be used correctly:

  • Do not mix with other detergents
  • Do not use to wash food
  • Do not dilute in a container normally used for foodstuffs
  • Do not use on skin
  • Do not use on animals
  • Do not overdose
  • Keep out of children's reach
